Instituto Alto
Identity, Website
Instituto Alto is a cultural organization that connects art, science, ecology, and territory through multidisciplinary programs and experiences. Working between São Paulo’s Historic Center and the Serra da Mantiqueira, it fosters encounters between different forms of knowledge and ways of imagining the future. We developed a visual identity capable of accompanying this dynamism: a flexible system designed to embrace the institute’s diverse initiatives and create connections across different scales and territories. Organic elements, contemporary typography, and a vibrant palette form an open visual expression that never closes in on itself. Alto is at once a vantage point and a call to expand the realm of possibility.
Simplexidade helps organizations operate in complex contexts without confusing complexity with complication. We applied this approach to the visual identity through graphics that explore the organic–digital duality and build on the idea of the power of relationships when integrated.
Encantado, Silva’s seventh album, gains a tactile dimension through a publication that brings together images and traces of the creative process. Enchantment emerges precisely in this gap, where sound and image come together to create a sensory experience.
An engineer, urban planner, feminist, and key figure in the making of MAM Rio, Carmen Portinho made the act of designing an instrument of social transformation. The exhibition tells her story and brings together works that reveal the breadth of her thinking.
By Chance is a platform-artwork created to generate combinations and sets from keywords randomly drawn from collections created or curated by the artist. Like dice cast in a game of chance, these words follow specific instructions and reveal unexpected connections, opening paths for creative processes across different fields—from visual arts to education, music to literature.
